Whew! Thought for a sec there I was gonna have to bend some rules, pull some strings, do whatever it took to get into my own champion's event set to take place soon ;) Thanks to ev1 who came to play. Oscar Mezazuma wins again!!

Thanks to ev1 who came to battle for a seat to TOC5. I finally got KO'ed for my bounty when my AA fell short of Jose's 2 pair. With Jamie playing a little prank on Oscar, he quickly blamed the beer he found in the freezer for his case of "Montezuma's Revenge." We were all laughing having a good time as Oscar managed to suck out on ev1 at the table ;) Great heads up action as the chips were passed frequently but in the end it was Oscar who secured his seat to TOC5. Congrats sir!

TOC 3 updates:

Congrats to all the past champs participating in the 'Tournament of Champions 3' bracelet event coming up in a few weeks. Joey "NObama" G. is ready & set to defend his title. As soon as we crown the next champion we will start qualifying for TOC4. Remember, the defending champ will also win a seat to the next event. The regular Saturday night re-buy prior to this event has already been cancelled on 4/24/10. This special bracelet event will take place on Sunday, April 25th @ 1pm. The buy-in will be $100+10 (1R1A). Players will start with $20,000 in tournament chips. Blinds will start at 100-100 with 20 minute levels. There will be an optional dealer special made available to all players at the beginning of play. (5K for 15$) All players are allowed (1) $100 re-buy/20K chips & (1) $100 add-on/30K.

Satellites for NOLA WSOPC starting tonight!

We played (2) $50 freezeout style tournaments. We had 11 total satellite players for game 1 & 10 for game 2. Cliff won the first one & Craig & I split the second one. I will be running these tournaments on Tuesday evenings if we have enough interest.

We have an afternoon b-day party to attend so instead of the regular re-buy donkament @ 7pm we're gonna be playing freezeout (no re-buy) tourneys starting @ 8pm. These will be 10-man single table satellites to the New Orleans WSOP Circuit Events in May. Winners will be paid in cash. Players will start with 5K chips. Blind levels are 15 min. & will start @ 50-50.
