BIGT secures the win!

It was another packed house Saturday night as we had 15 players on 2 tables for a $1200 pot! Thanks to ev1 for showing their support and coming out to play. With a new structure in place and way more chips in play we found ourselves playing blind levels we had never reached before! With my fair share of deep runs where the blinds supersede the starting stacks, I was fortunate enough to lock up the win on the eve and become the current champion that will hold for a few weeks since we are canceling this week's action to prepare for Sunday's Tournament of Champions special bracelet event. After playing 6-handed which seemed like forever once we got down to 5, we agreed on a 5th payout. Just in time for my b-day and the TOC this was definitely a special win :) Here are the official tournament results. Congrats to all who cashed!

Thanks to ev1 who came to play on Saturday. Never had we had back-to-back Saturday night champs till a few weeks ago when "Not-ur-Avg" Joe set the bar. Well guess what folks.. this record setting achievement by Joe only lasted till the new champ had a chance to do the same. "NObama Joe" has achieved the same! LOOK! Forget BIGT, just call me BIGJoe! Tournament of Champions has been set!

Hope ev1 had a safe & Happy 4th! We have finally set a date for BIGT's 2nd Semi-Annual Tournament of Champions bracelet main event! We will hold the main event Sunday August 2, 2009. We will have a tournament director in place and all rules will be enforced. (English only, No verbal check downs, etc.) Tournament will start at 6pm w/BBQ starting at 4pm. We will have several raffles & door prizes! We welcome all railbirds!

Tournament Structure:

Buy-in $120 w/ 1-$100 Re-buy/ 1-$100 Add-on

Players start w/ 50K TC; Re-buy 50K TC; Add-on 60K TC

30 min. levels; 3 places paid: 1st-50%, 2nd-30%, 3rd-20%
